“Be Still and Know that I am God” is taken from Psalm 46:10.
I was surprised to find out what the true meaning of being still is. When you click on that link, you will be taken to an article that I wrote entitled, “Be Still and Know that I am God” – The Meaning of Be Still Will Surprise You. I actually laughed when I found out the meaning.
At Guided Christian Meditation.com – http://guidedchristianmeditation.com you will find tools and resources to help you to live what I call – The Guided Life – a life guided by God. These tools include prayer, meditation and contemplative writing. I also offer a FREE weekly Ezine called The Guided Life to encourage you.
PLEASE NOTE: The idea behind the weekly Ezine is not to load up your email box with “yet another email.” I realize that people subscribe to “stuff” all of the time only to read the emails for a couple of weeks and have them pile up in their inbox, unread.
The purpose of this weekly Ezine “reminder” is to do just that. It is to remind you that life is more than running from one task to the next. It’s more than being exhausted at the end of the day and getting up and running a thousand miles an hour and doing this day in and day out feeling overwhelmed and finding no joy in life.
In this weekly Ezine I share my faith journey in leading a life guided by God. I don’t want to regret the past, worry about the future and miss out on living NOW. As much as I admit that I am a control freak, I don’t want to be in control. I want God to be in control. I want to let go and let my life magically unfold with His guidance and working behind the scenes.
I don’t know what I will write about from one week to the next because I am constantly learning! Every day seems to hold a new lesson. Doing spiritual work is hard. I want to be there to encourage you as I walk the walk with you.
For subscribing you will receive a free copy of cut number one from my meditation CD, “Be Still and Know that I am God.” This is my transformation story. I will also send you The Secret to Successful Prayer, a sermon that changed my life. So, do you want to join me on life’s adventure?
I trust that you will continue to seek and find a life guided by God. Learning to “be still” is the first step in the process.
Peace and blessings,
